The Sword Of Swords (1968)

The Sword of Swords is an amazing and tragic story about a simple man who just wants to be a hunter like his father and raise a family with his wife.  Sadly that isn’t his fate as his master entrusts him with the Sword of Swords.  The Shang family will stop at nothing to get possession of the sword.

I love this film. High production value, exciting action, and some really solid script writing! This is definitely a must see film.  What I really liked most about this film is that it is story driven rather than action driven.  I felt more invested in the characters than I do in later Shaw Brothers films that are pure action with weaker plots.
