Shadowless Sword (2005)

Shadowless Sword (also titled Legend of the Shadowless Sword) is a Korean martial arts film set in 926 A.D.  Yeon So-ha is the best warrior of Balhae and she is sent to retrieve the exiled prince Lee Seo-jin.  Not an easy task as the Chucksaldan (a.k.a. Killer Blade Army) has been sent to kill him.

Simple plot but I think the simple ones work the best.  Acting, production, and locations were really good mostly good. The costuming was mostly good. The exploding bodies were a bit odd, the Captain Jack Sparrow gang was very odd but other than that Shadowless Sword is worth watching. I enjoyed the villain Ki-young Lee in the film and would have had liked to known more about her background!
